Payment details are handled securely by Shopify Payments and authorised third-party processors — we never store your full card number on our systems.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and store your marketing preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.

We use the information we collect to process and fulfil your orders, send you order confirmations and shipping updates, respond to your questions or support requests, and improve the performance and content of our store. Where you have given us your consent, we also use your email address to send you promotional communications about new products, offers, and updates from GLÓRIA.

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR: fulfilment of a contract (to process your order), your consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (for fraud prevention, store analytics, and security), and compliance with legal obligations (for tax and accounting records, which we are required to retain for up to 7 years).

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only where necessary to operate our business. When you place an order, your name and delivery address are shared with our fulfilment suppliers and shipping carriers so your order can be dispatched and delivered to you. This is how our dropshipping model works — GLÓRIA remains fully responsible for your purchase at all times, regardless of who ships it.

We also share data with Shopify Inc., who powers our store, and with our payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal), our email marketing platform, and our analytics providers. All third parties we work with are required to handle your data securely and in compliance with applicable data protection law. Where any of these parties are located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Retention

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your order and transaction records for 7 years, as required by EU tax and accounting law. Your customer account data is retained until you request deletion or your account has been inactive for 3 years. If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we retain your email address and marketing preferences until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.

Where we rely on your consent to process your data — such as for marketing emails or non-essential cookies — you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of any processing we carried out before you withdrew it.

To stop receiving marketing emails from us, simply click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or email us at privacy@gloria-jewellery.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe". To object to analytics or advertising tracking, withdraw your cookie consent via the cookie banner on our website. We will honour all objection requests within 30 days and confirm by email once processed.
